On 18th January 2023, Chemjoy held its annual meeting where team members shared their progress and accomplishments in 2022 and laid out plans and visions for 2023.
Just before the week-long national holiday celebrating Chinese New Year, Chemjoy’s research department, business department and plant managers gathered together for the annual year-end meeting.
Two new team members who joined the research department of Chemjoy in 2022 were invited to present their work first. Apart from giving their insights and sharing their concerns regarding ongoing research projects, they also answered questions posed by the general manager and reflected on their performance during the past few months.
Next, engineers of the research department each gave a presentation sharing the research and development work they have completed in 2022 as well as projects that are still in progress. Many technical questions related to contract development projects were discussed during the process and the engineers answered questions from the general manager, painting a clearer picture in terms of challenges and opportunities for the rest of the Chemjoy team members.
After that, representative from Chemjoy’s Jinzhou factory presented statistics and data related to the operations of the plant, an update of current raw materials inventory was also given. The numbers provided important insights for both plant managers and engineers alike, enabling them to build stronger co-operations, thus boosting efficiency and maintaining safe manufacturing practices.
The business department gave a summary on the all the shipments completed in 2022, along with an update on shipments that are still en route to their destinations. The business department was proud to announce that they have managed to establish business relations with South American agrochemical distributors. The room was then handed over to representatives from the General Manager’s Office, who provided a brief report on the Chemjoy’s 2022 administrative matters and outlined their visions and expectations for the company as well as all team members.
The meeting was concluded after the general manager gave a closing remark which laid down the groundwork for contract research projects and business operations for 2023. The team members also voiced their suggestions and the meeting ended with an engaging brain-storming session filled with confidence and enthusiasm for the year 2023.
